Will it fit my shower?
Aqua Soft uses the standard BSP ½ inch thread found on most Australian shower arms, and works with many fixed and handheld heads. If your fitting is unusual (older imperial or a specialty mixer), send us a photo of the outlet thread via our contact page and we’ll check before you buy.
How often should I change the cartridge?
About every 3–4 months for a 1–2 person household. Swap sooner if your water is rough or the house is busy. The kit comes with 2 cartridges, and refills come in a 2-pack or the annual bundle.
Does it soften my water?
Not in the technical sense. Like most screw-on shower filters, Aqua Soft isn’t a full water softener and won’t remove hardness minerals the way a whole-house system does. What it does is help reduce chlorine and make shower water feel softer on hair and skin.
